Paining With Light

This semester I am taking my Photography Portfolio class and I chose to do a series on Painting With Light. Now I am still a bit up in the air about this because I'm afraid of running out of ideas and also i think im afraid to push myself to new highs. But that is also why i'm sticking with this theme because it will take my art to a whole new level. One that at the end of the semester I can look back on and be truly proud of. Anywho me and a few friends went to the beach the other day and here is what I got.

Woke up this morning to the sun peaking through my half open shade telling me to get up and start my day. My soul felt at peace for meditation is doing a body and mind well. Made tea and oatmeal and enjoyed the newest episode of Grey's Anatomy. Decided I didn't wanna be a couch potato all day so I got showered and dressed and came to the lab. Now I am currently editing pictures and working on my website. Tonight I'm making Chili for dinner (: Im so excited!!!

What Not To Wear

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....

Seeing that Christmas was a month ago that is not an appropriate way to greet the monstrosity of which is white and fluffy and falling from the sky. People complain about the snow ALL the time and usually i'm that sarcastic son of a bitch who says SUCK IT UP! you know where you live!

But I have classes tomorrow  and I normally like to look presentable and professional on class days. (Especially now that Im only taking Tues and Thur classes) Any who... The snow is just laughing in my wardrobes face. I'm stuck between a rock and a snowy place.

I MOVED!!

I finally got an apartment off campus! I live with two really cool girls and so far I am absolutely loving it! The apartment is designed in such an artsy fartsy way, from the classic to modern kitchen to the AMAZING victorian bathtub! The other day I cooked my first real dinner there.... I made cajun shrimp with greens and peppers. I made pasta to go with it. But i mistakenly bought angel hair pasta (which I dont like) and I overcooked it and threw it out! ):

There is this light in our kitchen that makes it perfect for taking picture of my food.
